Where is the Pasadena courthouse located?
The Pasadena courthouse is an imposing structure, a multi-story building which can be seen from the 210 freeway and throughout Old Town Pasadena. Most people will never have an occasion to go there until they find themselves in the situation which you now face, being charged with a crime and ordered to appear before the judge. The court is open on weekdays between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, with the exclusion of several holidays throughout the year.
It is located at 300 East Walnut Street, and parking can be found in the structure on the SE corner of Walnut and Marengo, though the entrance to the structure is around the corner on Ramona St. The rates for parking are $2 for the first 20 minutes, $4 for 20 to 40 minutes and $6 for any stay longer than 40 minutes. If you prefer to take public transportation, there are several bus stops located within walking distance. There is a cafeteria within the courthouse, as well as numerous restaurants nearby and at the Paseo Colorado shopping center.
